How I love sitting for portraits. The Luminato Festival asked me to participate in Milles Femmes, a fascinating “human landscapes” project by French artist Pierre Maraval. He will photograph 1,000 women who all share a passion for Toronto arts and culture. Each woman also selects a word she feels defines her best.
Pierre told me I was “the perfect model”. Of course I am. The two lovely Lancôme makeup artists enhanced my already perfect look that matched my beautiful Zoran Dobric dress. They were positively, adorably sweet and dished about the fabulous Canadian women to be included in the project. Veronica Tennant, Carole Pope, and local silkscreen queen Kingi Carpenter all had photos snapped before me. I look forward to the exhibit at the Allen Lambert Galleria in Brookfield Place from June 9 to 15.
