It’s a week of new, next big things. The Toronto Fashion Incubator New Labels Competition has their gala runway presentation this Tursday at the Elle Show, which means filling every day with interviews. Plus I have to worry about what to wear to the gala - these designers are so new they haven’t much available to buy in Toronto this spring. I would hate to break rule number one… perhaps I should pick something from a past New Labels participant.

Today I’ll talk to the judges Rita Silvan, David Dixon, Nathalie Atkinson, Kathy Cheng, and Mary Jo Looby. It’s always amusing to try getting the judges to admit their favourites, but I have never had one slip up and spill a secret yet. They’re just too good.
