I can’t believe I found this in the paper today:
“Assistant Designer wanted to help established, leading-edge Creative Director. Must be willing to do everything from making coffee (cannot be too hot!) to deciding seasonal colour palettes, the successful candidate will be a shining superstar in a group and can also work independently. He or she will be responsible for thread and fibre inventory. This is a 24-hour-a-day job that requires immaculate attention to deal. Applicants must have at least 5 years experience in a design house. Since this is an internship position, financial compensation will not be negotiable.”
It’s so “Devil Wears Prada”. Nasty bosses are best when they are fictional. I think I’ll stick to duplicating some of my ROCK-coco samples to sell at The Clothing Show.
