Someone told me that Rosa Costanzo’s studio and clothes were featured on Degrassi: The Next Generation, so I watched. That fabulous blue dress must have been hers. If I ever had a special event and a lot of money, I’d love to wear it. Her studio was amazing; one day I’d like to have one like that, with people bustling around, wheeling clothes around on rolling racks…

Oh well. At least I can make my own fantastic clothes for special events! Speaking of…what am I going to make for Imago Zine’s show at CiRCA on Thursday to launch Issue 4? A party theme of Fables and Bedtime Stories? My mind is already swirling in tulle…

Anyway, it was great to see a successful show supporting and promoting an independent designer. I would have liked to see her name mentioned though. I wish Canadians would recognize and buy more of their own brilliant designers.

Ciao…you are absolutely correct….CANADIAN DESIGNERS DO NOT have enough SUPPORT…what a shame for Canada for it has so many talented and great Fashion Designers.
It’s Time That Canada & Canadians Start Supporting Their Own for Once!!!!!!
Just think…….. where are we heading supporting everyone else except our own? There is no logic!!!!! It’s a total shame!!!!!!
I LOVE CANADIAN DESIGNERS AND IF THEY HAD MORE SUPPORT THEY WOULD PUT CANADA ON THE FASHION WORLD SCENE.
    CANADIAN DESIGNERS DESERVE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Ciao from t.c.

I would agree with you 150%. It is the same thing in the music industry. I wish our movies/tv shows would feature more canadian talent. We have tonssssssssssssssss of it.
