Queen Street Grind: Day One

Summer is here! It was such a beautiful weekend that I figured I should start my armband street sales this week, so I set up a table on Queen Street beside all the vendors between Lush and the Black Bull Tavern.

Holy Moly! What hard work! Could the vendors have been any more possessive about their places? Geesh! Some of them yelled at me for taking their spots. How could a piece of sidewalk be anyone’s spot? It’s public.

Then I tried setting up outside the corner by The Gap, but pedestrians yelled at me too. Then a Gap manager came out and started yelling at me. Stupid guy will probably steal my designs like they did to Wildhagen. Hmph. I don’t need The Gap’s sidewalk, anyway. But whose sidewalk can I use?

Ciao Bella……Gosh, sorry to hear your frustration. You’re right though….
Hey, I have an idea for you. Why not get some of your friends and yourself to wear some of your clothes and walk the runnway path (on sidewalk) maybe holding another outfit on a hanger while walking and have a sign saying for sale (the outfits that is).
Not sure how far that will get you, but it is an idea…..
    Good Luck bella
