Absolutely everyone asked about Mimi M.’s planned exposé over the weekend, and it became too tiring and unbearable, so it was a good thing I was able to escape the deluge by jetting to Vancouver.
I had to get the very first pair of limited edition Fidelity Jeans from my dear designer friend, Jason Trotzuk. He designed such a beautiful, flattering pant for breast cancer research. Usually I cannot condone the wearing of jeans outside of the backyard garden, but it’s for a good cause. They actually look fantastic with an Evan & Dean top from last season. The high neck and dressy ruffle are just prissy enough to take the denim jean from unisex to ladylike.
Even wearing jeans, I stopped at Leone and was treated to the best Vancouver shopping experience. Dining at West was delicious, followed by a superb sunset view at Watermark. I didn’t think I’d get to ever enjoy a Vancouver sunset because it rained so much, but after dinner, the clouds cleared to create a beautiful view. The Opus Hotel was my sanctuary, where I was able to escape Toronto troubles. Maybe I’ll stay an extra day before heading to Montreal for Sensation Mode’s Fashion and Design Festival.
