Sigh. Mimi M.’s exposé is following me all over the country and it hasn’t yet been published.

The moment I stepped into Montreal’s Festival Mode & Design media lounge, I felt all heads turn and all eyes stare, as though they were all just talking about me. I guess I can understand that people are dying to hear the real story of what happened with Fiona, but it’s painful. I can only hope that Mimi M. will be fair in her coverage.

At least the sensational shows pushed my scandal out of people’s minds for a moment. The Yves Saint Laurent Quebec designer tribute was astounding. How I love Denis Gagnon, Dubuc, and Marie Saint Pierre.

Swept away with the almost-summer scene and triumphant celebration of 50 Quebec designers, everyone forgot the gossip and focused on fashion. We basked in Bodybag by J.U.D.E. We eyed ENVERS by Yves Jean LaCasse. And we were touched by Tavan & Mitto. But then I was touched by something else. To be more precise, my shoulder was touched. By a very large hand.
