Dear Reader, have you ever had the worst week of all time? Have you ever lost your drive? Your motivation? Your direction?
In these situations, making decisions can be overwhelming and you don’t know where to turn.
Sadly, this happens to all of us - the best of us, even - and there are right ways and wrong ways to dilemma-deal with dignity. Wrong ways include road rage, screaming assuage, batting cage, or avoiding age. Right ways include rational thought, what can be bought, I’m here to teach you what can be taught.
Lucinda’s List: What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do
- Call Your Friends. You’re probably too young for cheesecake with the Golden Girls, but you and your friends have traditions. Your pals should be there for you, but remember that you should always be there for them.
- Call Your Masseuse. Nothing focuses and relaxes quite like a hot stone massage.
- Call Your Florist. Fresh scents always clear a mind.
- Call Your Personal Shopper. Retail therapy works.
- Call Your Concierge. He or she has the best network in your city and will know how to help you.
- Call Your Esthetician. A facial, manicure, and pedicure always make a person feel good.
- Call Your Stylist. A haircut provides a new look and a new outlook.
- Call Your Baker. Normally I never recommend high-carb sweets, but sometimes someone needs a treat.
- Call Your Pet. Nothing makes you feel more wanted than unconditional love.
- Call Your Therapist. If nobody else has answers for you, you might have to work on finding them out for yourself.
