Despite our secrecy, someone discovered my mafia maven meeting.

I knew we were exposed when I discovered the dreaded Ultimate Fashion Threat on my suite’s Noguchi table this morning. It was so dreadful, I can barely think of it without gasping in horror. The vision haunted me all day: Replicas of my American Express Gold Card and my World Fashion Media Membership card… all chopped up! I could not imagine a world without them. Everyone knows that if you anger the Fashion Mafia, you become persona non grata. Your shopping credit and all-access passes become null and void throughout the world.

It was all I needed. I did indeed discover the Fashion Grail and possessed valuable information that could overthrow the entire Fashion Mafia organization.

Do I continue my research, risk my fashion world status, uncover the story, reveal the truth about the Fashion Mafia, and become the serious journalist I strive to be? Do I give in to their threats and remain the important fashion fixture that I am?

Or do I approach them and beg for membership? My ultimate dream is to own all Very Important Pieces before anyone on the planet.
