I Got to See 3 Cool Shows

October 22nd, 2008 · No Comments

Oh, man…since invitations went out yesterday, I only had 5 responses! That can’t be good. Maybe I should send invitations earlier next season.
Oh yeah…I’ve got to figure out music and choreography too. No problem…that’s easy. In fact, everything is so much easier this second time around, I actually had time to go see a few [...]

L’Oréal Fashion Week Day Two

October 21st, 2008 · 2 Comments

Though my secret admirer delivered an entire Fashion Week wardrobe, it lacked a truly spectacular Tuesday outfit. She accessorized with a Pretty Raccoon Clothing scarf and glammed up my ensemble with shoes by David Dixon for Town [...]

Oh Yeah…The Invitations! And What? Seating Chart???

October 21st, 2008 · No Comments

OK! Marathon invitation day! The Fashion Week organizers asked for my seating list. Seating list? I have to do that too? I didn’t even send out my invitations until today! Spent all night making 500 mini-collages that really reflect the mood of my collection. Even though they were rushed, I’m pretty happy with them.
I begged [...]

Styling Emergency!

October 18th, 2008 · No Comments

L’Oreal Fashion Week in Toronto is on Monday!  I still need a talented stylist to help me choose the perfect fashion week outfit - and thanks to Leesa at The F-List, I can offer a pair of day passes for the tents in Nathan Philips Square in return.  If some miracle worker can assemble something [...]

Abel Munoz Steps out at the Bata Shoe Museum

October 17th, 2008 · No Comments

Abel Munoz - the sweetest shoe designer in Canada - held an exhibition of his fancy footwear at the Bata Shoe Museum. Oh, how I adore his shoes.
Tonight’s gossip was not about shoes; on everyone’s lips was Harley Davidson’s press release announcing its decision not to participate in L’Oreal Fashion Week. Personally, I do not [...]

Invitations! Crap!

October 17th, 2008 · No Comments

Holy crap! I totally forgot to send out invitations to my show next week! I’m going to be at the same time as the TFI New Labels Seminar, which is kind of a bummer because I think I want to enter the competition. I could really use the publicity and the prizes. Anyway, I hope [...]
