Art Night in Toronto

When I arrived home last night, I explained everything to Lady Miss Angora, who was as conflicted as I was about the elegance of the Fashion Mafia and their mandate to destroy the Canadian fashion industry. My little pet bunny rabbit loves luxury as much as I do, so she hopped in delight when she saw her custom-made Gucci bunny bag from Francesca Biscotti, but then sniffed around it after hearing about chinchillas and the chilling plans to thwart Canadian designers. She was still sniffing at it when I left for the evening.

First, I went to The Spoke Club for the opening of Arline Malakian’s series of ethereal, yet powerful photographs.  She often works with Lucian Matis - they have a very special creative connection.  So, I took the opportunity to wear one of my favourite Lucian Matis dresses.

Next, I stopped by the O’Connor Gallery for James Nye’s exhibition, Manifest Expression: A New Meaning. The paintings were interesting examinations of cityscapes, as seen through graffiti-covered lenses.
