My first Fashion Mafia assignment: ensure the glamour of the Chanel 2008/09 Cruise Collection runway show remained intact for its Toronto premiere for the benefit of HealthyKids International, a new initiative from the SickKids Foundation. I was to monitor show sophistication and guest glamour.

How happy was I to report the show was on-par with global runways, largely because most models were imports. Guests all wore Little Black Dresses or Little Red Dresses, primarily from international designers. Overall, it was an elegant event that would have made the Fashion Mafia proud.
