Chiropractic and Musculoskeletal Issues

Our bodies are made up of 11 different systems that control the whole thing. While there are professions that deal with all these systems I am here to talk about two in particular that are treated by chiropractors. The primary focus of chiropractic care is the muscular system and the skeletal system. The skeletal system provided the structure to our bodies as well as provides attachment sites for all the muscles. The muscular system provides mobility to our bodies and helps us get from point A to point B. While the main focus of chiropractic care is on the spine and the muscles that surround it, we also address both upper and lower extremity issues that cause havoc on our daily lives.

Typically issues with the skeletal system that chiropractic care addresses is the dysfunction of joint movement.  When our joints are moving properly there is less damage to the joint, better movement and increased strength of the body. When the joints are misaligned or not moving properly damage, pain and extra wear and tear can occur.  Muscles help to move our skeletal system and if there is a tear, a strain or scar tissue (knot) in our muscles they will not work properly and can cause pain. Hence the domino effect if one system starts to fail you will see the rest failing as well. So get an adjustment at the best Chandler chiropractic office, Apex Medical Group, and get your body feeling better.
